District policy states that all volunteers (inside and outside of the school building) are required to complete the volunteer application/training AND BE APPROVED before they can volunteer. More information and apply here.

Level 2: volunteer in the classroom, on field trips, garden class help during the school day, field day. Level 2 includes Level 1. It takes a couple hours the first time and a few minutes each year to renew.

Level 1: (takes about 15 minutes) for events such as Hedgestock, Glow Dance.

You will be emailed when approved and also when you need to renew.

Volunteer Coordinator (PTO, not a Board position)

Estimated time commitment: 1-2 hour/month

Tasks:

Copy & update about 1 sign-up per month
Communicate with and thank volunteers
Work with Class Rep Coordinators if key volunteer slots are unfilled
